The Birmingham League –
This is drawing to a close and what an ending it is! There’s only one outstanding fixture – Erdington and Saltley vs. Kings Norton. Second vs. First. A win or a draw for Kings Norton will guarantee them their second title in three seasons. A win for The Ton we mean we win the league for the first time ever.
The West Midlands League –
Personally we have nothing to play for other than pride. However, we’ve got two remaining games – Solihull (at home) and Redditch (away) – against two teams that have lots to play for! Both teams are going for the league so we have plenty of motivation there, not that we ever need any!
The Birmingham FA Cup –
We will enter this competition at the quarter final stage (vs. Harborne) if we finish second in the league or the semi final (vs. Aston who have already beaten South in the quarter final) if we win the league. The final will be played at Bodymoor Heath in May.
The Burton Shield (West Midlands Schools FA Cup) –
After today’s result we take on Brierley Hill and Dudley (at home) for a place in the final. The other semi final sees Aston travel to Redditch.
