The boys made light work of the poor weather and depleted squad to put in a great shift and make all three games incredibly tight. After finding themselves within touching distance of a win in each of the games, the boys left St. Albans with one win and two defeats for their efforts.
The game against Potters Bar was particularly entertaining with the Ton twice leading, before succumbing to a second half Bar fight back.
Regardless of the results, the boys showed encouraging signs of gelling as a team, two weeks before their first competitive 9-a-side game against East Birmingham on Saturday 24th September.
