Once a year the seven districts of Birmingham set aside their rivalries to form a Birmingham Primary Schools’ FA team in memory of the late, great Bernard Day. The former Sutton Coldfield Primary Schools’ FA manager and long time advocate of BPSFA, Bernard passed away five years ago and his memory is kept alive by our annual match with Leeds SFA for the Bernard Day Trophy.

This year The Ton had six players called up to represent Brum, with four of Birmingham’s five goals coming from the boot of an Erdington and Saltley boy!

All six of the lads represented the city with distinction and did everyone connected with The Ton immensely proud!

Well done boys!

Up The Ton!
