Aston 6-2 Erdington and Saltley
In Arctic-like conditions, the girls battled and fought to the bitter end on an evening when they showed their commitment to the team. While the result suggests we were rolled over, that couldn’t be any further from the truth.
A huge amount of credit must go to a buoyant Aston, who were excellent on the night and we wish them the very best of luck in the next round. Yet, we are equally proud of our girls too. On a night when it would have been easy for their heads to drop and spirits to be dashed, they played with determination and pride.
There were more than enough positives to suggest the second half of the campaign can be one of cheer.
