On a sweltering evening, the under 10s got their season underway with a composed performance that belied the fact that they’re still a relative group of strangers.

Throughout the game, their passing was crisp and attacking play exciting. A number of the goals were the culmination of wonderful passing moves, that started from Connor in goal and involved almost all of the outfield players.

At the back, Aidan was a constant source of stability, ensuring that Jaiy, Aaron and Fareed (who all played alongside him at some stage in the game) slotted in alongside him seamlessly.

Liam, Resharne, Reece and Aaron were lively in attack and linked up brilliantly from the very first whistle.

It’s safe to say we are all very excited about this season’s group of under 10s and can’t wait to watch them grow as the season unfolds!
